How To Transform Your Business From Successful To Amazing

I certainly didn’t!  I reached a point in this business where I knew, in order to scale it up without scaling up my own stress levels (and working till 3am instead of 2am), I needed change.  Based on my journey, here’s what I suggest you start implementing TODAY to grow your business without having to resort to alcohol, valium or worse – a divorce lawyer – in the process!

Action 1: Your systems

Having systems in place as you strive for operational excellence means IP is no longer in your head.  It becomes a resource in your business, meaning you can delegate within your team.  Just as important, in documenting your systems and procedures you’ll clearly identify risks both in terms of ‘stuff ‘ not getting done (or getting done in time) and inefficiencies across your business.

Action 2: Your resources

Action 3: Your strategic planning

You’ll never finish that marathon if you don’t know where the finish line is.  Likewise you’ll never take your business to amazing status if you don’t find time to plan.  Write down your dreams, turn them into smart goals, put a business plan in place to ensure you achieve those goals.

You won’t achieve every one of these goals every time (God knows I haven’t!).  But each time you don’t, you’ll learn what needs to change when you reset the goal … and if you don’t set goals you won’t grow your business.  It’s that simple.

Action 4: Your value

Take a minute to give yourself a bit of a pat on the back.  We get so caught up in the frustrations of all that lies ahead we can forget to stop and acknowledge our achievements.  Look at what you’ve already achieved. You’re pretty incredible!

Now you need time and support to concentrate on doing what you do best.  By spending time where you add the most value to your business you’ll love what you’re doing (which means EVERYTHING) and you’ll truly transform your business.  From successful to amazing!
